In order to improve the family-friendliness within the RU, the FOR 5327 works together with pme Family Services GmbH to provide consultation and coordination for the following childcare needs:
- daycare in a facility or private home
- emergency daycare
- household assistance
- recreational programs during school holidays
Back-up services are also provided by the pme Family Services to cover childcare needs during national holidays, during times when school holidays overlap with the university semester or in the case of a daycare center strike.
The collaboration with pme has been in place at the Institute for Nuclear Physics since 2012 and there has always been a continuously high demand.
